Job Overview:

As an AI and Data Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying datadriven AI solutions. You will work with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to create scalable systems that extract meaningful insights from vast amounts of data. Your work will support our mission to tackle sustainability challenges through advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  
• Implement and optimize AI and machine learning models to solve complex sustainability problems.
  
• Collaborate with data scientists software engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  
• Work with large datasets using tools such as Hadoop and Spark to preprocess and analyze data.
  
• Utilize cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP) for data storage processing and model deployment.
  
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure in Snowflake.
  
• Write efficient reusable and scalable code in Python and Scala.
  
• Ensure data quality and integrity through comprehensive testing and validation.
  
• Continuously improve system performance and reliability.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  
• 4 years of professional experience in data engineering AI or related roles.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python and Scala.
  
• Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop and Spark.
  
• Handson experience with Snowflake for data warehousing.
  
• Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS Azure GCP.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English and one of either French or Dutch.
  
• Passion for sustainability and using technology to drive positive change.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow PyTorch etc.).
  
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
