Job Description
Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Bemidji MN
Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: September 2024
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Monday Friday)
Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited school of optometry.
License: Active and unrestricted optometry license in any state of USA. Active BLS
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough eye examinations including testing visual acuity diagnosing vision problems and prescribing corrective lenses as needed.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders referring patients to specialists when necessary.
- Evaluate patients eye health and provide appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate electronic medical records using RPMS.
- Educate patients about proper eye care and preventive measures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice.
