Location: Tallahassee FL (Remote)

Client: Florida Department of Commerce

Experience: 10 Years

Musthave skills: 10y IT; 5 years in managing projects; governmental exp; exp Managing one or more highly complex or enterprisewide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects; PMP

Requirements:

• IT and business/industry work experience (10 years);
• Leadership experience (3 years);
• Managing projects experience (5 years);
• Experience working with IT and project management as it pertains to program areas such as reemployment services and/or community development or equivalent governmental program (2 years);
• Project Management methodologies and tools experience;
• Experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Managing one or more highly complex or enterprisewide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects;
• Developing program strategy;
• Supporting business case and various enterprisewide highlevel project plans;
• Communicating with IT leadership leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy direction and changes;
• Delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements;
• Tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers;
• Partnering with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of Client;
