Job Description
Job Title: AIX Engineer
Location: Pune Bangalore Hyderabad

Backup Monitoring.
VIOS server migration activities.
Monitor VIO server availability.
Monitoring of critical services such as EtherChannel NIB and MPIO.
Review of syslogs / event history. This includes conducting regular health checks on systems.
LPAR Administration.
Physical Disk configuration.
Resolving disk space problems (cleaning up the junk).
AIX mksysb backup and restore operations.
Gather information about Maintenance level releases on the Operating System.
Obtaining AIX Security Patches (APAR).
Identify relevant ML required for the system.
Apply Maintenance/Patches (Service packs (SP)
Installing Tanium and TrendMicro packages
Backup client configuration and updates
Capacity planning and management
LPAR/VIO server Configurations review and provide recommendations.
HMC Management.
SOX Audit report generation for on HFM AIX servers.
Team will discuss efforts for upgrades with Bausch and plan as either project work or normal BAU task appropriately.
