Job Description

On behalf of our client SAKK Kompetenzzentrum we are looking for a Associate Clinical Project Developer Temporary 12 months.

The Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research employs 70 coworkers at the SAKK Competence Center in Bern. We are a nonprofit organization conducting clinical trials in oncology since 1965.

Tasks

  • Maintaining a calendar with all relevant deadlines for grant applications
  • Updating a list of the different grants (e.g. translational research patientoriented research clinical research)
  • Acting as the liaise between the Project Manager of Patient Advisory Board to collect all required documents such as letters of support patient management plans and the Investigators
  • Ensuring the collection of the SAKK support letters and sending to the appropriate person for review
  • In charge of Setting up Contracts with Grant providers and organize/write the interim and final reporting to Grant providers with the support/ review of the Clinical Project Developer (CPD)
  • Entering the Budget that was prepared by the CPD in the grant application in the budget tool
  • Reviewing the provided budget to ensure it aligns with the project needs and grant requirements
  • Submit the application before the deadline or send reminders to the appropriate persons to submit the application (if applicable)
  • Confirm receipt of the application by the grant agency
  • You report directly to the Head CPD
  • You represent the SAKK coordination center as a contact person in the research groups and manage the study applications for the internal evaluations
  • You are the central contact person and point of contact for the study director

Requirements

  • Medical or scientific degree (e.g. biology biochemistry or pharmacy)
  • Experience of 1.5 to 2 years in the development of clinical trials in Pharma or CRO as a CRA or similar position
  • Strong organizational awareness and coordination skills
  • Excellent software office software knowledge and interest in new technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English plus knowledge of German or French
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment including current national and international legislation and guidelines
  • Customeroriented mindset combined with good networking skills
  • Proactive team oriented and resilient leader with assertiveness selfmotivation and focus on solutions

The position is 12 months but could be converted into an openended contract at the end of the 12 months initial contract.
