The role:

The Sales Development Intern will be a part of the Commercial division of hosco and directly support our Market Research and Sales processes. This will enable you to gain experience in each core function build business acumen and focus on teamwork while receiving continuous support and learning opportunities from our team members.

Market Research: Responsible for gathering market intelligence for insights that can inform business decisions and support the Industry Relations Sales team examining the market conditions for potential sales.

Industry Relations Sales Development: Responsible for proactive sales development of hospitality employers in regions globally. Employers can be any business unit or corporate account directly linked with the hospitality industry.

This is a 6month internship that will require an agreement with your University/similar.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Market Research (30%):

  • Source additional target prospects using a variety of sales tools outside of the database
  • Prioritise prospects enriching the database with contact information and talking points
  • Assign the shortlist of prospects within your assigned territory and Sales Development Representative (SDR) agents

Sales (70%):

  • Learn how to use our CRM software (Salesforce) and how to create reports and dashboards
  • Cold call in order to obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria
  • On a daily basis track prospects identify decision makers timelines hotbuttons and specific qualifications and enter data accurately and consistently into the companys CRM
  • Generate interest and create needs with potential clients
  • Support the Sales team with presentations and other ad hoc projects on how to improve the Sales funnel

Requirements/Experience required:

  • You are fluent in English and in French (native level prefered)
  • You are currently studying a Bachelors or Masters degree or online course and are able to provide an internship agreement
  • Can commit to an internship of 6 months ideally fulltime (39 hours per week)
  • You are naturally curious and have a strong willingness to learn
  • You are datadriven
  • You are a great communicator and enjoy working in teams
  • You are eligible to work in Barcelona
