We are looking for a Technical Architect to design the structure of our IT systems and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.

In this role you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. Wed also like you to have handson experience on software development and be able to manage complex programs. Your goal will be to ensure our internal IT framework operates properly.

Responsibilities

Understand company needs to define system specifications

Plan and design the structure of a technology solution using AWS/GCP/Snowflake Cloud platforms.

Communicate system requirements to software development teams.

Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods

Assist with solving technical problems when they arise

Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure

Address technical concerns ideas and suggestions

Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals

Requirements and skills

Strong experience as a Technical Architect or Project Manager

Handson experience with software development and system administration (DevSecOps)

7 years of experience implementing technological solutions including knowledge of cloud architecture design evaluation and research

5 years of handson experience in application architecture with a focus on creating scalable and reliable software systems that make use of contemporary software stacks and DevOps techniques

5 years of experience managing clients and/or projects

5 years of experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS

5 years of strong experience in building data pipelines using Apache Kafka Apache Spark BigData

5 years of experience building Snowflake application data sharing and streamlit app building.

5 years of experience building ETL pieplines using Informatica/Talend

5 years of experience in building effective data validation frameworks.

5 years of experience in building applications using AWS Glue Redshift and Data Marketplaces.

5 years of strong experience in database design migration and loading in various datawarehouse technologies

Strong Experience creating apps utilizing Kubernetes and containers particularly on the Google Cloud Platform

Strong Experience building hybridcloud solutions based on VM and containerization technologies such as VMware OpenStack Docker Kubernetes Istio and Anthos

Strong Experience with automation technologies Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager

Excellent communication skills

Problemsolving aptitude

Organizational and leadership skills

BSc/BA in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
