The selected candidate will work sidebyside with a very active benefits broker where success will be measured by enhancing the brokers efforts to retain and grow business. The selected individual will gain from the brokers 30 years of experience and will grow professionally by becoming acquainted with a wide variety of insurance products both employerbased and personal.

Job Responsibilities:

The role of Executive Assistant encompasses the support management and oversight of the brokers efforts to secure new business retain exisiting business and gain new product knowledge.

Receiving and responding to all of the Brokers incoming communications including phone and email or designating others to do so as applicable.

Preparing the brokers proposals and carrier RFPs. Overseeing the installation and implementation of all of the brokers new sales. Overseeing the installation and implementation of all renewal plan changes etc.

Overseeing the installation and implementation of the brokers Benefits Administration Technology platform for new and existing clients.

Overseeing and coordinating all of the Brokers Marketing and Compliance efforts.

Job Requirements:

The Executive Assistant will be engaged on weekdays in the brokers office in Iselin New Jersey during normal business hours. This position requires an individual who is a selfstarter that is able to succcessfully manage their own time and schedule so that there is little daytoday supervision by the broker. The job will also require local travel to client locations or other events. The candidate must have at least 5 years of working within Health Insurance.

Anthony P. Carro is an insurance broker and president of Point Vantage Benefits LLC a small but profitable insurance brokerage firm in central New Jersey. For more than 30 years Point Vantage has specialized in employersponsored health benefits for businesses in the tristate area as well as Executive Benefits for the business owner.

Point Vantage also partners with a retirement planning division specializing in 401(k) as well as a Property & Casualty insurance division.

Candidate Requirements:

Foremost the candidate must have experience in the group health insurance marketplace. Ideally the candidate should also be versed in the compliance issues surrounding the Affordable Care Act. A knowledge of the distinctions between the New Jersey and New York small group marketplace will be helpful although not required in order to apply. The selected candidate will be given access to the client decisionmakers so a good appearance and telephone manner is needed.

The candidate should have a firm grasp on small group quoting systems such as Health Connect and is also able to learn other quoting systems.

Willingness to travel to client meetings is a must.

Other helpful skills include a good working knowledge Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong Organizational skills.

Must have New Jersey and/or New York producer license.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: $80000.00 per year



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Clear verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Must be able to speak, listen and communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Stand or sit - must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the work day. Walk - the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, etc. Work Environment: Remote work is required as a part of this job. Access to stable internet and appropriate workspace will be required.
