DevOps Manager

Position Overview:

The DevOps Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation management and optimization of our DevOps processes and infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership skills technical expertise and a deep understanding of DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading DevOps teams and driving continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and effective operation of DevOps processes.
• Develop and implement strategies for automating infrastructure provisioning configuration management and deployment processes.
• Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Implement and maintain monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of the infrastructure.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of the infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends tools and technologies and drive the adoption of best practices within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps including 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
• Proficiency with infrastructureascode tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash etc.).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
