The candidate needs to have performed a migration of cloud workloads from onpremise to cloud environments and had actually done the work.
The candidates must have Azure architect or Azure Administration qualifications and relevant cloud experience (5 years plus)
The candidates should not only be able to talk theory but they should also be able to demonstrate on how to perform specific tasks because part of our interview process involves a technical assessment.
Development background is an advantage (this means that the candidate should have an understanding how applications work and are configured).
Devops experience is a huge advantage (we need someone who can implement app service key vaults backups DR security pipelines data bricks data factories MS SQL databases)
The candidate must know Azure security governance cost management etc.
The above should provide you with enough context in terms of the type of person we are looking for. All the candidates start off well in the interviews but when posed with real life questions on how to do things or detail what is required for a specific task / solution then they end up digressing way too much and avoid answering the questions.
