Job Description:

Managing the project initiation approach budgets risks issues building stakeholder buyin around the project plan commitments and changes to the system resulting in the final delivery.

Responsible for following SDLC/BTF/Agile/DevOps using standard project management tools such as Clarity

workbench and working closely with team members across business units.

Supporting Technology teams to manage delivery proactively balancing scope schedule resourcing dependencies communications and budgets

Providing management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider program objectives where appropriate and to the change portfolio across HSBC

Responsible for project reporting risks issues and dependencies to the management stakeholders and steering committees. Making recommendations to influence decisionmaking in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation

Ensuring adherence to standard controls thru Non Functional Requirements and drive teams to achieve.

• Demonstrate good knowledge of Program/Project Management Framework supporting the creation of detailed plans including key activities and milestones using Clarity and other HSBC tools.

• Manage progress against plan and assess any roadblocks risks and issues which would surface and hinder project deliveries.

• Risks issues and problems are managed and escalated efficiently with a minimum service disruption.

• Set up controls for PMs and team member to adhere and follow the PMO standards which were laid by the bank.

• Managing multiple development and testing teams across multiple regions (different time zones)
• Identifying factors which would drive the program off track monitor and share progress with stakeholders.
• Governance and adoption of best practices across offshore and nearshore centres is an absorbing challenge of the job holder with due consideration to the operating model and diversified cultural differences between development and testing centres.

Expert in Agile Working experience in all phases of software development Strong expertise in Scrum all scrum ceremonies Agile Metrics Must have strong understanding and practical experience of SAFe

Expert in Agile Planning and Estimation

Good experience in Agile engineering practices TDD BDD CI

Experience working with project teams to ensure overall delivery.

Need to have good knowledge of setting up / configuring JIRA.

Would be helpful to have experience of both front end and middleware development.

Must have strong turnaround skills backed with sound understanding of any given problem

Strong communication and assertive skills

Strong in stakeholder management and communication

Should be able to impart / present Agile mindset and agile concepts to stockholders

Experience of SAFe framework and implementation.
