Job Description
Role
The HeadF&A shall be responsible for Accounting Taxation and regulatory compliances Finance and Financial processes MIS and Investment evaluation and business support. Needs to build a lean F&A Team.
Responsibilities
- Accounting: Record to Report process including Statutory and Internal Audit of the company.
- Taxation: Taxation and regulatory compliance including GST TDS Income Tax returns etc.
- Finance: Financial Management including working capital management banking relationships etc.
- Systems & process: Institute and implement good systems and practices.
- Decision Support Budgeting MIS:
- Provide decision support through data analysis
- Coordinate and formulate operational and Financial Budgets/ Targets
- Analyse and present Business Performance and action plan for improvement
- Develop business plans and monitor and report progress against the plan
- Investment Evaluation:
- Investment / Bid Analysis For new businesses
- Analyse inorganic growth opportunities M&A possibilities
Education skills and traits
- CA/ CMA/ MBA (Finance) with 15 years total experience in F&A. Minimum 5 years in BFSI Training / Online Education. Minimum 2 years as Head F&A
- Analytical and problem solving skills demonstrable role in P&L management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills team player team management capabilities
- Expertise in Financial modeling using MS Excel and any ERP
- Professional and Ethical Behavior
- Multilingual fluency in English working knowledge of Tamil necessary
