• Estimated Pay: $125000 $145000 based on experience

Working Hours

Work will be scheduled normally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday however minor adjustment callback services and will be available for a flexible work schedule up to 5 days per week.

Emergencies

The Health and Human Services (HHS) Agency reserves the right to declare any necessary work within the Scope of Services to be an emergency during regular service hours or outside regular service hours and will request emergency services in writing. Contractor shall respond onsite to a request for emergency services within one (1) hour of notification and continue work until the services requested are complete to the satisfaction of the HHS Agency.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Psychologist License in good standings.
• Require Texas State Board of Psychologist license.
• Continuing educational credits in Forensic Evaluations.
• Five (5) years of relevant Experience
• Three (3) Letters of References.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Evaluate 46B patients for competency and evaluate 46C patients regarding risk.
• Evaluate referred 46B patients regarding their competency to stand trial and will provide an accurate written report of their competency in the form of a letter for the court and a report for CWS Avatar.
• Evaluate referred 46C patients regarding risk for future violence and factors that should be considered in the process of transitioning to treatment in a less restrictive setting and will provide an accurate written report for CWS Avatar.
• Provide report of competency which meets state requirements either dictated or written report on patients as assigned.
• Provide the dictated report regarding competency of each referral within 10 working days.
• Complete and submit each encounter forms/timesheet for billing purposes.
