Title: Specialist JAVA J2EE architect team

Your role

Reporting to Manager IT Java & Mobility architect team you will be responsible implementing our organizations Java/J2EE efforts in close collaboration with other IT teams and business partners. Your role will be essential in driving a usercentered design approach while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Work closely with various business partners to develop different programs and evaluate architectural alternatives and leverage cloud native services in a large global environment that supports both business and customer needs.

Technical depth in customer facing systems from an application development operations scalability availability performance people process and tooling perspective.

Work with a global team to capture requirements and implement solutions.

Work with different application teams to craft and implement solutions.

junior members in the team to deliver high quality systems and embrace newer integration services from ReactJS development.

What you ll be doing

Design/develop & Support solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements.

Selecting the appropriate services based on standard processes of java development and implementations. Estimate costs and identify cost feasible options.

Technical leadership in the full life cycle of the software environment. Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

Adhering to the defined standard processes for building secure and reliable custom development of integrations.

Drive scope definition requirements analysis functional and technical design application build and production deployment.

Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/nonfunctional requirements.

Provide support and technical governance expertise related to cloud integrations architectures deployment and operations.

Act as the coach and mentor to team members and technical staff on their assigned project tasks.

What you ll bring

Bachelor s degree in computer science systems analysis or a related study or equivalent experience

68 years of experience spanning at least two IT subject areas including technical lead application development database management or operations

Exposure to multiple diverse technologies and processing environments

Knowledge of business process reengineering principles and processes

Java/J2EE strong knowledge

React js Redux Node and any JavaScript framework

Spring/Spring Boot microservices/api s and ORM Tools (JPA or hibernate) SQL

Open liberty

AWS cloud services

Able to resolve application/performance defects.

Database Oracle/Postgres

Soft Competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication skills (content creation such as whitepapers proof of concepts patents etc.). Ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels in the organization.
