What you will be doing:

• Provide coaching and mentorship for new and experienced attorneys tailored to their skills and experience.
• Guide and mentor attorneys set strategies assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with partners on annual goals and hold them accountable.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients colleagues and the organization.
• Build trust with new clients by sharing why they are passionate about solving clients problems.
• Attend court hearings and trials as necessary.
• Ensure that the legal team operates in compliance with all ethical and regulatory standards.
• Implement and enforce the organizations ethical guidelines and practices.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organizations legal strategy.
• Facilitate Associate Attorney development plans.

Experience you will need:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in California.
• No history of discipline from the California State Bar.

• Proven experience as an attorney with several years of legal practice in the Trust and Estates practice area.
• Strong leadership team management and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding professional responsibility.
• Willingness and ability to work remotely with proficiency in remote work technology: Microsoft Word Google Chrome Gmail Clio Zoom and online research.
• Proficiency in legal technology and software.
