Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Production Engineer to join our team. The Senior Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the production processes ensuring the highest quality standards and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production engineering a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to mentor and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight:
   

   • Manage and supervise all aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency and productivity.
     
   • Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet company goals and customer demand.
     
   • Ensure that production activities comply with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
     

2. Process Optimization:
   

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
     
   • Utilize Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
     
   • Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
     

3. Quality Assurance:
   

   • Oversee the quality control processes to ensure that products meet the required specifications and standards.
     
   • Investigate and resolve productionrelated quality issues and implement corrective actions.
     
   • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to develop and maintain quality control systems.
     

4. Leadership and Mentorship:
   

   • Provide leadership and direction to the production engineering team.
     
   • Mentor and develop junior engineers and production staff providing guidance and support as needed.
     
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement teamwork and innovation within the production team.
     

5. Equipment and Maintenance Management:
   

   • Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and in optimal working condition.
     
   • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
     
   • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
     

6. Health and Safety:
   

   • Promote and enforce health and safety regulations and best practices within the production environment.
     
   • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
     
   • Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
     

7. CrossFunctional Collaboration:
   

   • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement logistics and R&D to ensure smooth production operations.
     
   • Participate in crossfunctional team meetings and projects to drive companywide initiatives.
     
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
     

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Production Engineering Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 13 years of experience in production engineering or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing production processes.
  
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturingor other process improvement methodologies.
  
• Excellent problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
  
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead crossfunctional projects.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with manufacturing technologies and automation.
  
• Certification in Lean Manufacturingor related areas.(If any)
  
• Experience in a senior or supervisory role.
