Merchandising Manager

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Makes decisions about what a store or chain purchases and helps negotiate the cost of the goods for the store.
• Determine the price that the store sells the goods for in order to make a profit.
• To develop customer wants based on attractive assortment and pricing.
• To set department budget and manage for GP Inventory ad sales to achieve it.
• Promotion planning (weekly and monthly).
• Research analyst and interpret market trends data and translate it into sales.
• Accurately forecast and manage products levels.
• Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with purchasing/buyers.
• Make good relationships with suppliers on winwin situation

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business / marketing or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
• Good command of MS Office (i.e. Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Able to thrive in highstress and fastpaced environment.
• Good communications in English Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Data analytical skills.
• Commercial sense and good negotiation abilities.
