Quality Manager

Our client a multinational leading company is seeking a Quality Manager based in Lebanon. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the manufacturing process. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products consistently meet specified standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Plans organizes and manages sampling measurements and analysis throughout the production processes for CH & CW

Analyze and interpret quality data; timely and accurately identifies deviations from targets and defines and implements improvement actions in collaboration with Production Manager and Process Manager

Manage & Coordinate the work the skills & the results of different Lab divisions ensuring their cooperation and performing a deep analysis followed by corrective actions. Ensures proper sampling at different steps and calibration of lab equipment. Ensure proper conditions and organization of the lab and high standard of housekeeping

Investigates and controls impact of changes of material production and process on product quality and implements actions to optimize costs and improve quality

Analyze and interpret quality data; timely and accurately identifies deviations from targets and defines and implements improvement actions in collaboration with the Production Manager. Investigates and controls impact of changes of material production and process on product quality.

Plans and controls budget; maintains longterm lab development plan including equipment repair and/or replacement And CAPEX plan

Other Task:

Defines product portfolio and product and process targets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (customers Marketing & Sales and

Manufacturing) and supports Technical Sales in the qualification and followup of customer complaints

Jointly with Marketing & Sales monitors customer satisfaction and competitiveness of product performance and defines/implements corrective actions if required

Represent Holcim Liban by actively participating and contributing to LIBNOR technical events and activities

Ensures application and management of an appropriate quality system. Organizes internal and external audits on quality processes and ensures implementation of corrective actions identified in CH and CW

Defines and implements the necessary measures to maintain the condition of the lab installations and to assure proper functioning of equipment and systems (preventive maintenance service contracts) and Defines backup solutions for control of key quality parameters in case of breakdown of critical equipment

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management Industrial Technology or a related field.

Masters in Chemistry is preferred.

minimum of 10 years experience in cement industry including 5 years in quality management.
