Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented GRC and Privacy Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory requirements maintains effective governance frameworks and protects customer and employee data privacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management compliance and privacy regulations with the ability to implement and oversee policies that safeguard our operations. What youll do: Develop and maintain governance frameworks that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws regulations and standards. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets and data privacy. Oversee privacy compliance efforts including GDPR CCPA or other relevant regulations ensuring data protection practices are in place. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal IT and business units to ensure cohesive compliance and risk management strategies. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and privacy matters. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to keep policies and procedures current and effective. Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications youll need

: Technical & Behavioral Competencies Skillset Minimum of 5 7 years of experience in the financial services and/or managing firmwide programs and initiatives in risk and control functions.

Understanding of Risk Controls and regulatory environments market place and new technologies.

Indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to data privacy and information security (e.g. DPDP CCPA ISO 27001 ISO 27701).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and develop practical solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Certification in relevant areas (e.g. ISO 27001 ISO 27701) is a plus. Experience with GRC software tools and platforms preferred.
