Location: Manhattan NYC (6th Ave and W 51st). Requires 23 days/week in the office

Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain highperformance scalable and secure Java applications Implement distributed processing solutions using multithreading and multiprocessing orchestration Develop cloudbased applications on Azure with experience in OpenShift being desirable. Write efficient SQL queries stored procedures and create views for relational databases. Analyze data and perform data transformations using tools like SSIS Script automation tasks using Python.

Required Skills and Experience:

5 years of experience as a Java Developer

Strong proficiency in Java SQL and Microservices using Java 17 Spring Cloud and Async

Experience with cloudbased development using Azure Spring Apps and Azure Monitor

Additional Highly Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of traded products

Experience with sensitivity calculations and position valuations

Proficiency in market risk measures such as VaR and FRTBSA

Experience with Databricks is a plus

Education and Certifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

Relevant certifications in Java Azure or other technologies are a plus.
