Quality Assurance Manager

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for a Quality Manager for a wellreputed food and beverage manufacturing company based in Colombo. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee the quality assurance and control processes for our frozen products. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of safety quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control and assurance processes for all frozen products.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities and processes.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to develop and maintain product specifications.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation and records including HACCP GMP and other relevant certifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
• Train and mentor quality control staff on best practices and industry standards.
• Stay current with industry trends regulations and advancements in quality management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science Bio Science or Agir Culture and Lead Auditor with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Business understanding of Food manufacturing & Quality Assurance; Global Industry trends in the FMCG Industry.
• Sound knowledge of Production systems quality standards and systems factory ordinances food regulatory standards food safety standards health and safety systems financial knowledge and modern process technology.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
