Job Description
Job Title: Digital Marketing/ Social Media Executive
Station: Head Office
Location: Lagos
Department: Marketing
Direct Report: Head Marketing
Background
A company in the FMCG sector has an opening for a social media marketing personnel with core expertise in content creation. The job holder is expected to effectively use all social media platforms to tell compelling brand stories that drive brand love.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and directing digital/social media campaigns
- Growing the social media pages Instagram Twitter Facebook Tiktok
- Working with various content formats such as blogs videos audio podcasts etc.
- Identifying trends and insights from culture and social media
- Community management
- Optimizing content for the website and social media platforms
- Content Creation & Campaign Management
- Write edit and produce original content
- Plan and schedule social media posts
- Be part of the creative process: think of creative ways to promote content events and engage your audience
- Working with other departments (sales HR customer service) to coordinate align and consistently implement the overall marketing strategy.
- Amplify offline events on social media
Key Requirements
- Proven experience managing brands and growing audiences on social media
- Knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok Instagram Twitter
- Knowledge of video and picture editing
- Full understanding of all social media platforms
- Knowledge of content management systems
- 2 to 4 years on the job experience
Qualifications
B.sc or HND in Business Management or Sciences
