CNC Machinist

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the screw nut and bolt industry specializing in custom fabricated metal products jobbing and repair services. They are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist you will play a crucial role in the setup and operation of multiaxis live tooling lathes.

CNC Machinist Job Responsibilities

• Set up and prove out experience with multiaxis live tooling lathes
• Work independently and as part of a team to align and secure holding fixtures cutting tools attachments accessories and materials
• Proficient in setting up and operating all standard inspection equipment
• Apply standard machining practices such as speeds feeds coolant flow depth and angle of cut
• Read understand and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings with a strong working knowledge of GD&T
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language both oral and written
• High school diploma/GED or graduation from a certified technical school or equivalent education and production maintenance experience
• Basic math skills
