Commercial HVAC Estimator

Our clients company specializes in design build mechanical and plumbing building systems. They are a leading provider in the industry known for their expertise and commitment to delivering highquality solutions. Currently they are seeking a Commercial Estimator to join their team.

This role will involve working closely with the president or account executive to prepare and quote costs for various projects.

Commercial Estimator Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the president or account executive to gather project requirements and specifications.
• Analyze blueprints drawings and other project documentation to determine accurate cost estimates.
• Conduct research to identify material and labor costs ensuring competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed estimates including labor materials equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates bids and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.

Qualifications

• 46 years of experience in commercial estimating.
• Strong background in commercial construction preferably as an HVAC Foreman or journeyman.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and previous experience in HVAC estimating for construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting project specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
