Senior UXUI Designer

Role: Senior UX/UI Designer

POP: 12 months Contract

Location: (Remote with Hybrid) Locals to DMV region are preferred

Job Overview:

The UX/UI Designer (Senior) is responsible for designing intuitive and userfriendly interfaces for the organizations shared platform environment. This role collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams including product managers developers and stakeholders to understand user needs identify pain points and create design solutions that enhance the overall user experience while addressing reliability performance stability observability data governance and security challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research including interviews surveys and usability testing to gather insights into user behaviors preferences and pain points within the shared platform environment.
• Analyze research findings and translate them into user personas user journeys and design requirements that inform the design process.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for various applications and tools within the shared platform ensuring consistency accessibility and adherence to design standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure that design solutions are technically feasible scalable and aligned with performance observability and security requirements.
• Participate in designing and implementing data governance and security measures ensuring that user interfaces promote data integrity privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain design systems style guides and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across the shared platforms user interfaces.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve and refine the user experience addressing performance stability and observability issues.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals technical constraints and stakeholder requirements.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in UX/UI design accessibility and usercentered design principles.

Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) Interaction Design or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating usercentric design solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe XD Sketch or similar software.
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies usability testing and design thinking principles.
• Experience in designing complex systems datadriven applications and enterprise software.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g. WCAG Section 508).
• Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Familiarity with frontend development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
