Onyx Building Group Inc is one of Southern Californias premier drywall and exterior building skin contractors. Specializing in drywall metal framing lath and plaster fireproofing and air/vapor barriers in the Western United States.
We are seeking a Contract Data Entry Operator to accurately enter and maintain data related to construction contracts subcontracts and agreements. This role will support our legal and project management teams by ensuring all contractrelated information is organized uptodate and easily accessible.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter contract details into company databases and contract management systems.
- Update and maintain records of contracts amendments and associated documents.
- Ensure that all data is current and accurately reflects the terms and conditions of the contracts.
- Maintain an efficient filing system for both electronic and hard copy documents.
- Ensure that all contract data entry processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and audits as required.
- Communicate with project managers legal teams and other stakeholders to gather necessary contract information.
- Provide regular updates on the status of contract data entry and report any issues promptly.
- Review data entries for accuracy and completeness identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies.
- Implement data validation procedures to ensure highquality data entry.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely entry and updating of contract information.
- Assist in the preparation of contract summaries reports and other documentation as needed.
- Updating and maintaining databases archives and filing systems.
- Monitoring and reviewing databases and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
- Generating and exporting data reports spreadsheets and documents as needed.
- Performing clerical duties such as filing monitoring office supplies scanning and printing as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year experience as a data entry operator or similar.
- Excellent typing abilities.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in data capturing and office management software such as MS Office and Google Suite.
- The ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately.
- Good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical operations.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
