Job Description
Job Title: Java & NiFi Software Engineer
Job Location: Annapolis Junction MD
Interview: Virtual
Job Type: Full Time
Note: Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.
We are urgently seeking a Software Engineer with robust experience in Java and NIAGARAFILES/Apache NiFi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustain and develop the tool including enhancements and new data flows.
- Provide emergency 24/7 callin support on a rotating pager schedule (approximately one week every six weeks). Typically the team handles afterhours support 12 times monthly with most issues resolved by phone.
Required Technical Skills:
- Java
- NIAGARAFILES / Apache NiFi
- Elasticsearch
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Spring Boot
- API development
- Docker
- Familiarity with agency reporting and dissemination tools
- Understanding of agency classification policies
- Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence
