Job Description

Our client is a leader in the field of medical devices and are looking for a dynamic experienced and committed Trainer to join them.

Job purpose summary

Training: Develop and implement training programs for employees assess training and development needs for organization help individuals develop skills and knowledge creates training manuals present inperson training sessions monitor training for effectivenesTraining of Sales staff both new and existing and customers where applicable. This includes all internal and external training requirements
  • Training and onboarding of all new hires.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training material and programs for internal staff as well as end users hospital nursing staff procurement
  • .Regular update of all training material.
  • Refresher training for existing staff.
  • Accurate record keeping of all training.
  • Work with Marketing & Training Manager and the respective Sales Managers to ensure product training is conducted by Sales team.
  • Accurate record keeping that is POPI compliant
  • Training on relevant regulations that pertain to the Marketing Code of Conduct
  • Working with Reps infield to identify areas in which sales staff need more training.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Training Manager to develop and maintain training manuals materials procedures and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all training activities
  • Support the Training Manager in managing training logistics including scheduling venue coordination and resource allocation.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Training Manager on training activities outcomes and areas for improvement and contribute to strategic planning efforts to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency
  • Gathering of additional training material research etc. Liaise with the Training & Marketing Manager.
Responsibility areas

!. Planning and organizing
All company training events assisting with marketing when the need arises.
2. Managing information or general administration support
All internal and external training records.
Support given to sales team and managers.
POPIA compliant record keeping of patient information.
3. Monitoring and reporting
Monitoring and reporting on progress of new staff to Marketing & Training Manager post training and during probation period.
Monitoring and reporting on external staff training.
4. Evaluating and decisionmaking
Evaluation of products and training material.
5. Production responsibilities
Producing accurate and functional training material and training guides as per company requirements.
6. Health and safety
Training staff on the safe and effective use of our products generators etc. to ensure the health and safety for our staff patients and clients.
7. Using equipment and systems
Training staff on the correct use/indication of our products and CRM system.
Training external customers end users etc. on our products.
8. Selfdevelopment
Individualized

Specific details of daytoday responsibilities
1.Ensure the team has all requirements for meetings detailing and training etc.
2.Managing emails and ensuring contents of email are actioned/addressed or responded to where necessary.
3.Following up on all projects currently working on sales team etc.
4.Infield travel with all sales representatives.
5.Infield cover of cases when short staffed.
6.Training planned or ad hoc.
7.Discussions with Marketing and Training Manager on training activities planned or ad hoc.
8.Attending online training sessions.
9.Assisting Admin team with product info etc. for submissions or feedback to customers.
10.Research and data collection.

Special Projects
As and when required by management.
Assist in marketing events when the need arises.

Other
After hours are required from time to time for Congresses company events etc.

Requirements

5 years experience in a similar position
Experience in the medical devices industry preferred
Suitable tertiary training is an advantage
MS Office proficiency including Excel advanced or a similar system
