Job Description

Overview:

The Technical IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in the organization by identifying sourcing and hiring top technical talent. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers and developing strategic recruiting plans to meet the companys IT staffing needs effectively. The Technical IT Recruiter is responsible for attracting evaluating and hiring skilled IT professionals to support the companys technological advancements and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical staffing needs
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and job boards)
  • Screen IT resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct technical interviews and assess candidates technical skills
  • Coordinate IT job interviews and facilitate the hiring process
  • Build a network of potential candidates through industry contacts social networks and referrals
  • Participate in tech industry events and forums to network with IT professionals
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies for IT positions
  • Provide recommendations to improve the IT recruitment process
  • Use ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to manage candidate applications and data
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process
  • Stay updated on IT industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Prepare and present reports on IT recruitment metrics and progress
  • Participate in employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources IT Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Technical IT Recruiter or in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT roles technical skills and industry trends
  • Excellent knowledge of technical sourcing methods and tools
  • Strong familiarity with ATS and HR databases
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough technical interviews and evaluate candidates technical abilities
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional networks in the IT industry
  • Proven track record in meeting IT staffing targets and deadlines
  • Sound understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical recruitment projects effectively
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and recruitment software
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Certification in Technical Recruiting or HR is a plus
