Our client is a growing branch office firm in a regional location of a national firm with links to a global network (100 offices and –300 team members) that provides audit accounting tax and business advisory services.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished accountant to lead a branch office in a North Queensland city. The role involves working with clients in rural finance and the mining industry as well as longterm clients. As the tax business manager you will enjoy the benefits of managing your own office leading a team and being part of a larger network of firms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the branch office.
• Lead a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee complex financial matters for client portfolios.
• Foster client relationships and ensure highquality service.
• Play a strategic role in business development and client acquisition.
• Prepare for Partnerlevel responsibilities and contribute to the firm's growth

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Over 8 years of experience in public accounting preferably with a midtier or larger firm
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Proven track record of handling substantial client groups and complex financial matters
• Strong aspiration to advance to a Partner role within the firm
