Data entry Operator

Responsibilities

• Entering accurate data into our inventory management system including product details (e.g. type of jewellery materials gemstones carat weight) pricing information and vendor details.
  
• Maintaining and updating existing data in our databases ensuring all information is current and reflects any changes.
  
• Verifying the accuracy of data by crossreferencing information from various sources and correcting any discrepancies.
  
• Organizing and filing digital and physical records related to jewellery inventory.
  
• Following strict data security protocols to safeguard sensitive customer and company information.
  
• Performing other data entry tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Minimum of 1 year experience in data entry preferably in a retail or inventory management environment.
  
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) database management systems and jewelleryspecific software (a plus).
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Basic understanding of the jewellery industry (a plus).
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
