About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our clients healthcare team. This role is critical in ensuring highquality patient care through expert blood draws and specimen preparation. If you are compassionate detailoriented and skilled in phlebotomy techniques we want you on our team!

Position Summary:

As a Phlebotomist you will utilize your expertise in blood draws and specimen handling to ensure accurate and comfortable specimen collection from patients across diverse demographics. Your ability to communicate clearly and courteously with patients is essential to our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Your Mission:

• Perform blood draws label specimens centrifuge samples and record maintenance data with precision and accuracy.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients to minimize discomfort and ensure patient understanding.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using straight needles and butterfly needles for specimen collection.
• Ensure compliance with physicians orders and accurately match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
• Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature and protocol to maintain specimen integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations wear appropriate attire including all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and attend annual department trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering telephone inquiries and reading laboratory results to satisfy patient inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the laboratory.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in performing blood draws and specimen collection in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures specimen handling and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare team members.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills to manage specimen collection and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
