Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Gathers interprets and manipulates large data to enable analytical insights and inferences for the business.
- Selects the appropriate analytical reporting and visualization and bring solutions to the business problems
- Composes technical documents for knowledge persistence risk management and technical review audiences. Consults with peers for guidance as needed.
- Translates business request(s) into specific analytical questions executing on the analysis and communicating outcomes to nontechnical business colleagues.
- Consults with Data Engineering IT the business and other internal stakeholders to deploy analytical solutions that are aligned with the customers vision and specifications and consistent with best practices and business and IT standards.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data quality management data profiling data cleansing tools.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data quality and privacy.
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience and 4 years of experience in Decision Science Analytics quantitative analytics or Statistician roles
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Business Analytics or a related field
- Experience in Data Analysis (including predictive models) using SAS and Tableau
- Must have strong experience in SQL and have some experience in SAS (Certification in SAS programming is preferred)
- Must have proficiency in Proficient with productivity tools such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns trends and anomalies in data.
- Ability to write code that is easy to follow well documented and commented where necessary to explain logic (high code transparency).
- Familiarity with performing adhoc analytics using descriptive diagnostic and inferential statistics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
