Are you a skilled Cloud Engineer passionate about building and optimizing cloud infrastructure for cuttingedge autonomous drone technology Join us at Sunflower Labs to develop a robust cloud architecture to enable customers to remotely pilot and manage drones in real time. As part of the backend/cloud team you will collaborate with a dynamic team of frontend and robotics engineers to maintain global remote system access and high availability.

Tasks

• Develop cloud services that connect users to their systems globally
• Enable users to remotely control their drones in real time
• Ensure reliable live video stream from the drone to the user
• Design and deploy Nest.js applications in Kubernetes (K8s)
• Own your services from idea through implementation to deployment and monitoring

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript (Nest.js knowledge an advantage)
• Experience with event driven systems
• Experience with clientserver APIs (WebSocket REST)
• Experience with Amazon AWS or Google Cloud platforms (Terraform knowledge an advantage)
• Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Proven experience in deploying monitoring and remotely updating cloud and edge services
• Experience in relational and nonrelational databases
