Overview
The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization by analyzing and translating business needs into user requirements facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Conduct gap analysis and assist in solution design.
- Perform data analysis to support decisionmaking.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation.
- Assist in the testing and validation of solutions.
- Provide support in the implementation of new systems or processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve issues and risks related to business processes.
- Assist in training and onboarding of users for new systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes to business processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process optimization and efficiency.
- Support the development of business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes and workflow.
- Proficiency in data analysis and business modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with business process reengineering and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the industry.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and business analysis software.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP) is a plus.
