Java Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Collaborate with the team to define design and ship new features
• Write welldesigned efficient and testable code
• Integrate software components and thirdparty programs
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Design and develop databases including queries and stored procedures
• Ensure software is updated with the latest features
• Participate in continuous learning and knowledge sharing activities
• Contribute to team meetings and scrum practices
• Work closely with product management and other stakeholders
• Provide technical support when required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or relevant role
• Strong knowledge of Java Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development tools (e.g. Git)
• Ability to write clean efficient and maintainable code
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Good understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement
• Certifications in Java development or related areas are a plus
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is desirable
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
