Senior Data Architect

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  
• Develop and enforce database architecture strategies including data warehousing and data lakes.
  
• Define and manage data flow and integration patterns across systems.
  
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  
• Create and maintain data models data dictionaries and data flow diagrams.
  
• Ensure data architecture is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Optimize database performance including tuning queries and indexes.
  
• Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures.
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and data engineers.
  
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management and architecture.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data architecture data management or a related field.
  
• Proven experience with data modeling database design and data warehousing.
  
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
  
• Proficiency in data integration and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend Apache Nifi).
  
• Understanding of data governance and data security best practices.
  
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark) is a plus.
  
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) AWS Certified Big Data) are preferred.
