The Role

SecOps focuses on the integration of security practices into the operations processes to ensure robust security across IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Monitor systems and networks for security threats.
• Detect and respond to security incidents in realtime.
• Develop and implement incident response plans.
• Conduct forensic analysis to mitigate security breaches.
• Regularly scan systems for vulnerabilities.
• Ensure timely application of patches and updates.
• Develop and enforce security policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Control and manage user access to systems.
• Monitor and manage privileged access to critical systems.
• Conduct security awareness training across the Engineering team promoting best practices.
• Select and manage security tools and technologies automating security processes where possible to improve efficiency.
• Identify and assess security risks.
• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Collaborate with IT development and operations teams to integrate security.
• Communicate security issues and policies within the Engineering team.
• Continuously seek ways to improve the IT security posture.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats and technologies.

Key Attributes:

• Minimum 2 years experince in a similar role
• Certified in Security
• A certification in Computer Science would be advantageous
• Attention to detail with an excellent command of written and spoken English
