THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit Manager who will report directly to the Audit Partners. In this role you will manage audit engagements supervise staff and ensure meticulous documentation adhering to internal and Australian Audit Standards. You will fully adapt to a dynamic environment collaborating with a diverse client base.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guide develop and coach team members.
  • Handle an audit client portfolio ensuring timely topquality work compliant with regulations and budget.
  • Supervise daily team tasks including scheduling and audit file management.
  • Foster client relationships communicating audit results to executives.
  • Pursue business growth with current and potential clients.
  • Act as a representative of the Assurance Division internally and externally.
  • Take on extra assurance tasks as required.
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 5 years experience in professional external audit
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Proficient in audit techniques and methods
  • Familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) Australian Auditing Standards (ASA) and relevant legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client management abilities
  • Advanced computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office
