Job Description
Human Resources Advisor
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to support our client in the Mining and Metal industry. The successful candidate will provide human resource support to leaders and employees including coaching on the application of HR systems. This role ensures the fair and consistent application of HR policies procedures and processes and assists in identifying key issues and solutions to enhance people effectiveness.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $44 to $47 based on experience.
10month contract: parental leave replacement position.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: Inoffice presence required 23 days per week

Responsibilities:
Provide human resource support to Human Resource Business Partners leaders and employees within the client group.
Assist in implementing human resources programs and policies within the business.
Support leaders and Human Resource Business Partners with operational projects and recurring annual activities such as salary review talent review and performance management.
Advise on human resources policies and procedures employee relations performance labour and regulatory issues.
Provide feedback on policies procedures and programs to AoEs.
Coach leaders to support effective workplace relationships and increase skill level in employee management.
Develop skills and provide advice support and coaching in the use of human resources systems (e.g. remuneration/benefits performance management).
Conduct investigations into breaches of policy and procedure.
Lead special projects and other initiatives (e.g. employee engagement performance and capability improvement attraction and retention initiatives).
Identify improvement initiatives in human resources processes.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in a related field.
CHRP certification is an asset
3 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience with Workday is an asset.
Experience in the mining and metal industry or a large organization.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
