Job Description

Overview:

The Business Development Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the companys growth initiatives by assisting in identifying new business opportunities building relationships with potential clients and contributing to the overall expansion of the organization. This unpaid internship provides a valuable learning experience in the field of business development and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities.
  • Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in networking events to establish contacts and promote the company.
  • Support the development of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify new business prospects.
  • Assist in maintaining CRM databases and analyzing sales data.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans and forecasts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the business development team.
  • Assist in creating and updating sales and marketing materials.
  • Participate in sales meetings and client presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of client relationship management strategies.
  • Assist in identifying new market opportunities and target markets.
  • Provide support in evaluating and tracking sales performance metrics.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Assist in the coordination of business development activities and events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Business Marketing or related field.
  • Strong interest in sales business development and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
  • Previous internship or work experience in sales marketing or business development is beneficial.
