Job Description
AIX Administration:
Manage and administer AIX servers ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Install configure and maintain AIX operating systems and related software.
Technical Support:
Provide expertlevel support for AIXrelated issues incidents and service requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in collaboration with other IT teams.
Provide expert level support for AIX s connections to SAN NAS and IP networks.
Provide expert level support for IBM power environments including HMC/LPAR
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor AIX system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
Conduct regular performance analysis and recommend improvements.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect AIX systems from potential threats.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for AIX configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AIX environments.
