Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Underwriting Expertise: Conduct comprehensive underwriting for Fire Engineering Marine and Liability insurance.
Quote Preparation: Independently prepare accurate and competitive insurance quotes.
Market Analysis: Stay updated with market trends ratings and excesses to make informed underwriting decisions.
Team Leadership: Handle underwriting operations independently while guiding and mentoring the team.
Documentation: Proficiently use Excel Outlook and PowerPoint for reporting presentations and communication.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients team members and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Experience: 510 years in Fire Engineering Marine & Liability underwriting.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
Independence: Ability to prepare quotes independently and handle tasks autonomously.
Market Knowledge: Updated with market ratings and excess trends.
Team Management: Ability to guide and manage a team effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Graduates in any stream.
Professional Certification: III qualifications (Insurance Institute of India or equivalent).
