About us

Yego was born in 2016 when shared mobility with a light vehicle was still at an experimental stage. Nowadays it is a reality and Yego already operates in 5 Spanish cities (Barcelona Valencia Malaga Zaragoza and Sevilla) and 4 French cities (Bordeaux Toulouse Niza and Paris). Our experience of more than 6 years in the sector our progressive growth and our ability to create a community with users public actors and private partners make Yego a reference in Europe.

To maintain our we do it inhouse philosophy and keep growing internally we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who enjoys designing and developing innovative web applications that help us to provide a unique experience for our more than 300K monthly riders. Working along with a small but talented team you will be generating a continuous and close impact on our product.

Main Mission

Maintain and continuously improve Yego s architecture ensuring our apps reliability scalability and efficiency. Collaborate and participate in team decisions by bringing new ideas or suggestions that foster our continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing new features on the API endpoints and web app
• Ensuring the reliability scalability and efficiency of our more than 10K daily riders and the internal tools for the Yegers
• Working closely with the product team to develop a feature from concept to delivery
• Bringing ideas of improvement from your own user experience
• Participating in every technological decision

Our stack: PHP/Laravel NodeJS AWS (EC2 RDS Lambda S3 SNS SQS...) Redis RabbitMQ Mysql Redshift

Requirements:

• 4 years of working experience creating software architectures
• Strong experience in backend development
• Follow good practices (SOLID TDD DDD etc)
• Passionate about technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Experience in agile development methodologies
• Problemsolving mindset and openminded
• Experience in DevOps would be a plus
• Willingness to learn quickly and proactively bring up ideas andsolutions
• Fluent in English
