For our international client near Mannheim we are currently looking for a
SERVICE TECHNICIAN – FRENCH SPEAKING
Do you enjoy working in a small team within a dynamic international environment where you can make a real impact Then this opportunity might be for you! To strengthen our Technical Service team for the French speaking region we are looking for a enthusiastic and proactive Service Technician. From our office near Mannheim you will provide solutions to technical problems for external customers as well as conduct training and educational programs for internal and external customers. You will do this alongside 2 other colleagues. You will report to a Regional Technical Service Leader
Your responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve a variety of product service requests questions and concerns of moderate complexity via telephone mail and in person.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot matters concerning repairs or procedures to correct problems associated with electrical or mechanical systems.
  • Conduct research and investigations to determine validity of warranty claims and may make warranty policy adjustments as required.
  • Communicate with both internal and external partners in order to resolve inquiries.
  • Assist with locating various product parts in critical situations that require expedient resolution.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal customer service representatives and other staff and external customers.
  • Maintain and continuously improve knowledge of principles practices and procedures regarding company products and equipment for unique situations that require new and creative solutions.
  • Enter customer contact details into Customer Relationship Management software.
You profile:
  • You have a general education degree in a Technical Field with minimum 3 years proven work experience in a troubleshooting and repair capacity.
  • You have customer or technical support experience preferably in an engine powered product service industry.
  • You speak a native level of French and have fluent English skills. German would be of advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge specific to Company products
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating crossfunctionally in a dynamic environment.
