Key Responsibilities:
Daily Audit and Verification:
- Supervise and perform daily revenue audits for all hotel operations including rooms food and beverage and other departments.
- Verify all financial transactions ensuring they are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile revenue figures between different sources such as point of sale systems night audit reports and accounting records.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all income audit activities comply with hotel policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute daily weekly and monthly income reports to management.
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances in revenue reports and resolve them promptly.
Team Supervision and Development:
- Lead and supervise the income audit team providing guidance training and support to ensure high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment encouraging professional growth and development.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and improve income audit processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements to streamline income audit functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any issues affecting revenue reporting and ensure seamless operations.
Financial Analysis and Support:
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing financial analysis and reports for management.
- Provide support during internal and external audits ensuring all required documentation is available and accurate.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities providing insights on revenue trends and potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 35 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hotel revenue management systems.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Amenable to work in Muntinlupa City.
