Hospital Details:
- NICU Level: II 32 weeks gestation and above
- BabyFriendly Hospital
- Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 56
- Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 16
- Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (monthly): 75
- MFM Support: UVA MFM supports the program
- Residency Program: N/A
- Inhouse Anesthesia: Yes
- EMR: EPIC
Program Details:
- Structure: 2.0 program with MD and CNM 24/7
- 24 Hour Shifts: 57 a month
- GYN Coverage: Yes emergent only
- Circumcisions: On an asneeded basis pediatricians perform them
- First Assist: Yes as needed or when available
- Midwives Backup: Yes
- Family Practice Backup: No
- Backup Available to Hospitalists: Yes
