TPF Recruitment are recruiting an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join a reputable accountancy practice in the Addlestone area. This will either be a 4 or 5 day working week and will require some flexibility with travel.
Responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping for various clients using Xero and Sage Line50
- Preparation review and submission of VAT returns
- Posting monthly payroll journals
- Fixed Asset reconciliations
- Monthly / Quarterly management accounts packs for clients
- Accounts preparation
- Draft corporation tax computations for review by tax team
- Liaise with external auditors to resolve auditor queries
- Set up BACS payment runs for clients
- Identify clients with P11d reporting requirements and collate information to assist with the completion of P11Ds
Requirements
- AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE Accountant
- Excellent communication skills with clients and internal team and ability to communicate problems encountered with team members
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Experience of bookkeeping using Xero & Sage Line 50
- Experience of using accounts preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential)
- Experience of using corporation tax preparation software (CCH desirable but not essential)
- Processing payroll journals
- Facilitating BACS payment runs for clients
