Job Description
Position Title: Estimator
Work Setup: Work Onsite
Salary: Php 35000.00 Php 45000.00
Schedule: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM PH Time
Our client is a renowned specialist in tiling for the retail commercial and hospitality industries. They handle 300500 projects annually across Australia for leading local and global brands offering expertise in all aspects of floor and wall tiling including intricate feature work. Their team comprises longterm highly skilled employees capable of managing projects of any size.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN ESTIMATOR
Responsibilities as an Estimator:
Collaborate with project managers architects subcontractors and suppliers to gather necessary information for project estimates.
Analyze project blueprints specifications and other documentation to determine material and labor requirements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for commercial construction projects including itemized breakdowns of costs and timelines.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiate pricing agreements to ensure costeffectiveness.
Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process identifying potential cost overruns and proposing costsaving measures.
Stay updated on industry trends material costs and labor rates to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
Qualifications as an Estimator:
Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry with a strong understanding of commercial construction processes and best practices.
Proficiency in construction niche softwares such as Planswift Bluebeam etc..
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams subcontractors and suppliers.
Detailoriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in estimating project costs.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
