A logistics company is seeking to hire a Billing Clerk. In this seat you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the billing process. The ideal candidate has relevant work experience in the billing process has relevant industry experience (warehouse or logistics industry would be a plus) and possesses strong customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all accounting activities related to the bank treasury products as assigned including daily and monthend journal entries
- Deposits checks cash and process credit card transactions.
- Maintenance of departmental procedures supporting monthly accounting close researching and implementing accounting for new products and assisting with adhoc requests.
- Deposit Checks
- Apply Payments and reconcile AR
- Handle Credit Card applications
- Maintain banking relationships
- Answer inquiries
- Strong understanding of cash applications accounts receivable and billing processes
Requirements
Associate Degree in Accounting preferredKnowledge of Accounts Receivable processing and procedures with strong attention to details.
Ability to manage large volumes of transactions with little supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with agency staff and outside parties.
Monitor and resolve all discrepancies between billing and cash receipts.
Bachelor's degree 2 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience in private equity or similar Experience using an ERP Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy
